In May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation becomes active. These will replace the previously valid rules of the EU defined in 1995. One of the main goals of this regulation is to improve the protection of personal data. Organizations must make essential changes to meet these regulations. This session will use four steps to provide you as an administrator or consultant the necessary information that you can follow on your journey to GDPR compliance with Microsoft Azure. We will show you in practical configurations and demos how Azure Information Protection, Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Azure Key Vault and Azure AD Privileged Identity Management can help you to be aligned with GDPR. Additionally we will discuss the related encryption, availability and reporting options you can use in Azure to establish the right security controls.
